Best and fresh food.. Prices affordable!

This place got panned in some previous review for not being authentic. It's true, it's not a Japanese authentic restaurant, but it is excellent in terms of its Taiwanese ownership. The slices of fish are thick, fresh and delicious... None of these thin slivers common in authentic Japanese Sashimi plates. We had shrimp sashimi, as fresh as can be. The decor is gorgeous, dramatic and striking. Service is excellent. All of us enjoyed ourselves immensely.

It's kinda important to speak Chinese here in order to get decent service (this is coming from two Korean and two Japanese people). The waiter we had barely understood English and wasn't able to answer most of our questions. I just wanted to know what kind of rolls were in some of the combo options and he either didn't know what I was asking or didn't know the answer. The food itself was pretty good and displayed really nicely, but I've had better sashimi that wasn't as pricy. Luckily they were having a deal on Toro hand rolls so we got a bunch of those.

Food tastes fine, not very impressive but for the price can't complain too much, just keep in mind not to order their steak, very chewy. Sashimi is ok.

Great Japanese food & service. They give you free edamame, miso soup, & spring salad when dining in. Price is very reasonable for great food.

Great sushi and sashimi

This restaurant should not even earned one star for I dined with my family one night July discovered mold in all the chillis in spicy chicken wings,after reporting that discovery to the owner, it's has been ignored and stating that it's has nothing to do with me . It is a bad customer service and that will create healthy issue to the public. Beware not to order that spicy chicken wings if you dine there.

Its always a great place to have dinners with my Asian friends who love Japanese cuisine. People must try raw fish, it was pretty fresh

Had the deluxe chirashi. The sashimi was excellent. Unfortunately they ran out of sweet shrimp,, but I was happy to sub additional uni as a replacement.

The shabu shabu was horribly executed. I can't speak about the rest of the food, but the pork bone broth had no flavor and the shabu set was 80% cabbage. They charged 8.00 for that flavorless broth. Pork bone broth is supposed to be cloudy and almost milky with the marrow. This was an almost clear broth with a pork bone thrown in for the looks.

Fusion Japanese + Taiwanese + Chinese best if 3 worlds

Modern Chinese Japanese gastropubs for those hip Taiwanese parents and friends. Good eats and drinks, lively atmosphere. Finally a decent shabu and sushi joint in this area. Lots of private rooms for bday or celebration gatherings. Service is superb, Pola was super sweet and nice. - one of the original waitress from last restaurant, she'll treat you like family. I guess this place will be the new place for family bday dinners. Opened early Feb 2016. Their old restaurant is off of las tunas.Also, its BYOB!

Excellent Sushi and Sashimi far better than most

Came here for my dad's birthday. Food is pricier, but good quality seafood and tasty. They served bottled water instead of glasses which I thought was a bit wasteful though.

For Javier, top-notch service when the restaurant wasn't packed.

I admire this place! They prepare superb food, their menu is rich, The chief cook in that place is a specialist, I love a lot eating all their food. The food is consistently tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is good. I frequently visit this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend this place.

Fast and good service. Good quality. Good prices. Great location. Many private rooms available for private parties. There always seems to a lot of Taiwanese (like me) and Chinese people eating there. Lots of variety: Sushi, hot pot (shabu shabu), combo plates.

This Japanese restaurant serves a combination of Traditional Japanese food like sushi and other Chinese style seafood. They even have hot pots. Got many likes from elderly to the younger generation. A very popular place even on a Sunday night.

We came to this place for dinner. we heard about this place from quite a few people. Well, it was very nice. The staff members were extremely nice and we had a great feeling. The meal was delicious. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. Warmly recommended.

this place is super rick in Japanese culture, the have separate tatami rooms for guests. The fishes and sushi are super fresh and well prepared. Thursday is also our must-visit day because they offer 50% on Uni.

NOT authentic Japanese food. But I still like this place for its value and quality is not bad. It caters more to the Chinese community in the area as the food is in bigger portions than traditional Japanese establishments. There are also many Chinese dishes on the menu. Just set your expectations for what it is.

I really only like salmon. It's really good here. Tastes fresh and buttery. Pieces are generous. Very yummy!

Three words... Luxury Sushi Boat!Came here to meet my FIL for lunch, I had no idea what to expect. FIL said they're known for their sushi. They actually have a nice selection of foods on their menu from Shabu-shabu, noodles, rolls, appetizers, etc.We got a small lamb shabu- shabu pot and a luxury sushi boat.The shabu was good. The meat was nice, and the veggies were super fresh, I would definitely get it again.The star of the show was the sushi boat. It had jellyfish, scallops, salmon, abalone, mackerel, a whole lobster, and so much more. They also cook the lobster with noodles after you're done with the sashimi.All the seafood was fresh and so good! I will request to eat here again next time we're in town!
